If your significant other is going to stay with you in the hospital. Remember they should bring a hospital bag with essentials in them as well.
- Mother’s Milk Tea ( If you plan on breastfeeding)
- Warm Socks ( Keep in mind hospital are usually cold inside)
- Snacks ( Hospital food is not always the best and if you are a snacker like me. Bring snacks)
- Chap stick ( My lips were very dry after I gave birth. My body felt dehydrated, which made my lips dry.)
- Lose clothes to go home in(Leggings were my best friend after birth. I gave birth vaginally and I received A LOT of stitches.The stitches were not friendly to tight pants/underwear.)
- Some type of Entertainment( My daughter slept most of the time in the hospital. My only entertainment was the little TV I had to share with another mother.)
- Personal Hygiene Products ( Toothpaste, deodorant,mouthwash, hairbrush, hair tie,lotion, baby wipes for mini bed wash ups. You can find these items in travel size quantity. Travel size items take up less space in your hospital bag.)
- Your Personal Identification Information ( ID card, Insurance card)
- Infant Car seat ( Very important)
- Warm Baby Clothes ( Blankets, beanies, dress you baby for the appropriate seasonal weather)
