Invitations: Creating a Facebook event for my baby shower was simple and FREE. I was able to invite my friends on Facebook with a click of a button. Facebook sent out reminder notifications to my guest; and kept track of who was able to attend or not. I did make a few keepsake invitations for close family members.

  • Diaper & Wipes Raffle

A diaper & wipes raffle is a bay shower game, where your guest bring diapers and wipes to be entered into a prize raffle. Diapers and wipes are a must have for your baby. I recommend advising your guest not to buy newborn size diapers. Advise them to start from size one and bigger. My daughter was in size newborn for only a month. I did not have to buy a pack of diapers until my daughter was 7 months old. I was able to use all my diapers from my diaper raffle. Including baby wipes in this raffle is a must. Unlike the different size diapers, you will use your baby wipes constantly. To wipes your baby’s face after he or she eats. To clean their hands, butt, face, spit up, throw up, etc……… Having a diaper raffle was the best decision I made about my baby shower.

  • Nacho Bar

You will come to find that food will be one of the most expensive item on this list. I had a nacho bar that was low in cost and everyone enjoyed it.

  • Decorations

Dollar Tree is key. Make a small decoration budget and stick to it. You can create and find inexpensive decorations at the Dollar Tree and 99 Cent Store.

  • Drinks

Keep it simple. Water is a must with an option of a dark and light soda. I recommend buying the mini water bottles, because people usually won’t finish a full bottle.
