If you answered yes to anyone of these questions, please talk to someone. Preferably your doctor. Postpartum depression is real and needs to be taken seriously. Please also talk to your doctor about any changes with your baby or your emotional state. Let your partner, family or friends know about how you are feeling. ALWAYS let your doctor know. Don’t feel like you have to go at it alone. I highlighted question five because it is very concerning. If you answered yes, let your doctor know RIGHT AWAY. Do not feel ashamed to let someone know. If you are a friend or partner and you notice any depression or unhappy signs in the mother. Talk with her about what you see in a concerned but not judgmental way. Start steps to help improve how you feel. Always let someone know if you feel depressed.
